Corporate Golf Academies:

The various Academy programme options are geared to provide individual tuition within the context of small groups of selected guests.

This format provides an ideal vehicle with which to entertain guests, clients or staff within an informal environment that is educative, fun & which promotes personal contact and teamwork between all of the participants.

The following are just two examples of what our clients think after hosting a Corporate Golf Academy Programme:

‘one of my team in particular said it (the Corporate Academy Programme) was the most awesome way for a company to recognise and reward a high performance team and that personally she found the lessons were the best and most useful single thing she had ever been given by a company.’

A Daley – Adcorp Holdings.

'The effectiveness of the teaching programmes and event platforms John created for me during out National (Golf) Academy Series in 2005 was a major contributing factor to our being R 35 million ahead of our sales targets at the end of that financial year.'

L De Klerk - SABC

Testimonials

Adcorp Key Accounts

Dear John

I am leaving Adcorp Holdings to explore new horizons and would like to thank you for arranging and running the golf academy for my team at Adcorp Key Accounts.

The idea behind the academy was to provide the women on my team with a comprehensive golf course at the end of which they would graduate by playing in the Adcorp Pro-Am event.  The academy also taught them additional business skills and discipline which was a happy outcome for the team.

Your team of Alan Wilson and Hugh Bain were patience personified and the lesson content, email swing notes from, “What’s golf got to do with it?”, and the personalised follow ups were very instructive.

In spite of the inevitable changes in the team and some fall outs it was pleasing to see that of the 7 original starters and the 3 that completed the full programme 2 managed to play in the Pro-Am event and distinguished themselves by coming 21st out of 26 teams – not bad for two complete beginners!

The added bonus for me having made the investment in the academy from a ‘pressured’ marketing budget, was the feedback from all of them on the value they derived from the golf academy and one of my team in particular said it was the most awesome way for a company to recognise and reward a high performance team and that personally she found the lessons were the best and most useful single thing she had ever been given by a company.

I wish you well and may your golfing academies continue to add value to your clients

Auriol Daley
